Limitation of liberty
In Poland it is one of the penalties provided for by the Criminal Code. Generally it is imposed for a period of at least 1 month and not more than 2 years. The person sentenced to limitation of liberty is obliged to perform certain, supervised work which serves local community, without receiving any remuneration. However, if a sentenced person is employed, the court may instead impose a monthly deduction of remuneration of work on that person.
